Sorry for the lateness, but this week has been hectic. Also, I’m taking a semi-break so there’ll be less of me in July; not that I write many non-collab posts (yet). But I’ll still drop by to stalk KM. -^^-

The confrontation between Manabe and Tsubasa leads to a recalling of “Arisa’s” forgotten past; namely, her secret.

It starts off with a cute flashback; she brings him orange jelly! And pesters him everyday. I think I’m growing really used to seeing ‘Arisa’ and Manabe together; if the pairing turned out to be Manabe x Tsubasa, I might think that it looks a bit awkward (more used to seeing Tsubasa x Takeru ^^).

After she tends to his injuries (like she used to do with her twin <3), she dumps a bunch of class pictures on him.

LOL KYFNI, Arisa is so stalker towards Manabe >D (But its the cute-I secretly-have-a-crush-on-you-kind(?) ) Agreed TakeruxTsuabasa and ManabexArisa = w = ftw

Awww she’s so cute~ Ehstalkerwhat? Actually, I could so see that in my head lol. xD Kukuku I don’t care who ends up with who, this series is good enough to me as it is. =w=b

At first, Manabe thinks that it’s a cute idea; help out the class without taking the credit. But since this is Arisa’s “secret”, when things go wrong and classmates are bullied, the only one he can blame is her.

I think that for many people, putting two and two together (Arisa’s secret coupled with the class’ secret) yielded something along the lines of Arisa = the King. And now, we have some slight proof but… I don’t want to believe it. I love plot twists~ more please. :D

I dont think Arisa is the king, I dont know about boyfriend-guy though, but I certainly dont hope its some totally new guy we’ve never seen before = w =;; And creepy eyes ftw please ukukuk.

Okay scarryy. They all look psychotic imo. xD That poor student. DX

Manabe claims that he will reveal to everyone her ’secret’. Unable to completely trust her twin (nyuuu), Tsubasa does some snooping; only to find a complete list of granted wishes in the “King Folder”.

A discussion between Midori and Mariko yields a lovestruck confession and… Mariko’s dark side. She rips off the charm that she and ‘Arisa’ share; by now it’s pretty clear that she knows the truth. ><

Tsubasa watches Arisa sadly, and I can’t imagine what must be going through her mind. :(

Tsubasa has given up hope since it seems that everything is resolved by acknowledging that her twin is the King, and her presence is no longer needed since her role has been played. But Takeru’s always there to… well, bring some unfortunate news. =/

Please return the real Sonada Arisa to us.

As Tsubasa recalls that the King has never failed to grant a wish, she rushes to the hospital bed only to find several dozen roses. Back at school, we see Mariko welcoming back her Arisa with quite an evil smile…

I have now concluded that Mariko is crazy, obsessed, downright creepy, and disturbing; someone get her some serious help. Quick. xDD

I really need to say that I don’t think Arisa is the King; first, I never really believed it anyways and I’m not sure how she’d grant the wish of returning herself… since she’s comatose. The fact that she has a complete list is slightly sketchy, but maybe she’s just the King’s secretary? Also, I doubt Mariko is the King because she’s more of the “accomplice” type. Manabe’s also been crossed out; of course, that only leaves Midori… but since he’s so oblivious and Mariko clearly does not think too highly of him, that’s even harder to believe.

Yay Manabe is innocent~~ \(^o^)/ Like I said, I still suspect Midori. It’s always the innocent ones. xD *has been watching too much CSI*

I’m still saying Takeru, because… well, where did he come from? Tsubasa is seen to be on hospital property still, and Takeru probably went to check Arisa’s room before looking elsewhere. It implies something, I think. And his surprise may very well have been feigned; it wouldn’t be too hard. Honestly, I hope we don’t find out any time soon; I don’t want this series to end. :3

Whoa that’s some nice speculation there Kyfni = w =, even I’m starting to think Takeru could be the king. Maybe Natsumi-sensei was trying to confuse us all when showing Midori as the king card in the chapter 4 cover? o u o Still Arisa is definetly related to king. Huhu so much mystery<3

Whoaaa. Lol. Takeru as the king would be epiccc~ I would not expect it, he’s so.. you know. xD Kekekeke… Although I must say imagining Takeru & Arisa in cahoots together just creeps me out more. Aah, the creepiness of this whole series just thrills me. <3

Announcement!

Also! We’ll be on a tiny hiatus for a bit (perhaps… 2-3 weeks), because well… we’re moving~ To put it simply, wordpress has limitations we hate. XD Our new site will be much better than what we have now, so please look forward to it. ^^

Why obligatory? Because we say so. P: These are our pre-chapter six impressions; it wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t start from the beginning. ^^

Pretty colour spread~ though did anyone else notice how their eye colours change sometimes? But Tsubasa with purple eyes or pink eyes is still ♥.

Chapter 1

Yay twins~ there's Suusuu-influence right there. Kinda. xD

So we start off the series with both a seperation and a reunion, which sets a cheerful atmosphere despite the “cute yet evil” aura that Tsubasa kind of gives off. But when they meet up, it’s like nothing has changed.

Ahhh, they’re so cute as children. The chapter starts off so happyyy. xD

..Such an innocent. Just like Higurashi >D ( Don’t worry last higurashi reference in this post… maybe. )

I really like this scan of two Arisas; it's pretty. Manabe totally made me go "kyaaaa~!!".

It’s been three years, so they have quite a bit of catching up to do~ they pull a switcheroo at Arisa’s suggestion, since she doesn’t seem all that happy that Tsubasa envies her…

And whoa. Really identical. O__O I wish I had a twin… switching places would be so fun~ …Manabe is cute. >w<

The class is all happy-happy, but wait! Those creepy eyes… >_< They scared me when I was editing (thankfully I didn’t spend much time on the page); then they came back to haunt me on the NBM ARISA site, lol. I wonder who they belong to– Manabe? Anyways, Arisa just looks so heartbroken by the fact that her twin thinks that school is fun, and she purposefully falls out the window. It was pretty unprecedented; but the namesake of the series can’t just die… can she?

Eyes are super-creeepppyyyy. Arisa looks so possessed on this page, imo. xD Draw anybody without the white shiny-ness in their eyes, and they’ll look possessed to me. =w=

Those creepy eyes totally drew me into the series~ >D And Arisa looks sad, yet I’m not sure if thats quite it =u=;

Chapter 2

Chibi twins! Cuteness amongst a touch of horror; my favourite. >w<

Arisa doesn’t die, but she ends up in the hospital in a possibly self-induced coma. I didn’t think she would die, but it would have possibly made it more exciting. Though, this is Nakayoshi so… maybe not. Besides, I’d like to see more of Arisa; her character is quite intriguing.

The color page is so pretty. *w*

Loveee the color page~ Natsumi-sensei is totally imrpoving =w=b and It is Nakayoshi after all, so I doubt we’ll see anything truly bloody .w.  But we are talking about Natsumi Andou, creator of Kitchen Princess which was also in Nakayoshi.. so who knows >D

Aww, Takeru, you made her cry! x) Though happy tears are always better than those of sorrow, and at least she's not blaming herself anymore.

I might as well say this now: I love Takeru. ♥ Moving on, by her hospital bed, Tsubasa decides to find out the truth for herself; her headstrong, determined personality is what I like best about her.

Yay, go Tsubasa. Go and find out what’s making your poor sister so depressed. T__T And Takeru comes in!

So awesome Tsubasa =w=b Arisa’s definently sad but i dont know = – =; I wonder if she’ll prove to be a yandere after all.

I honestly don't know if I'll be able to tell them apart if/when Arisa wakes up...

I wonder how it feels to impersonate your twin (fun?); it’s probably hard for Tsubasa since she only knows the Arisa from her letters. But the class seems to buy her amnesia story… right? But I can’t help but wonder why Arisa’s role in “King Time” is so important; if everyone makes a wish, why is one person more or less singled out?

And just a random thought, if someone didn’t have a cell phone, how would they participate in “King Time”? Or does everyone nowadays have a cell phone (except me, incidentally). xD

I think it would be fun~ ^^/ Although you have to make sure you respond to your twin’s name and not yours, that’s how most twins-who-switch-places get caught. =w=;;

I have a cell phone, but I never use it. xD So it just sits around and gets missed calls from my parents. =w=b

Well its shoujo anyway, so how often your able to tell the characters apart i sdecreasing rapidly =w= It’d be fun to switch places~ can get bery mischevious >]If they didn’t have cellphones they would use… any method to get to their king OuO(or they can be lazy and use a laptop)

Chapter 3

I want to see that pirate-rabbit again. xD

So, “King Time” seems to be some wishing-game, but the catch is that these wishes come true (and the entire class takes it so seriously!). The wish is to get rid of a teacher; which could mean many things, but I guess the King likes to go for the direct *disappear already!* route.

Psh, I bet the “King” can’t grant all kinds of wishes. I just hope someone is smart enough to wish for an impossible wish. xD I want to see what this King will do, rofl.

The King using violent ways to grant the wishes it what makes it exciting =w=b

The Demon Princess shows herself, but she's not nearly as scary as the supposed-worshippers. o_O

True to his word, the King seems to cause the teacher’s disappearance.

That poor teacher, I wonder where he went. -___-;;  And possessed-eyes again. The class looks possessed.

THE CLASS IS IN-DENIAL. Or just really-really-really obsessed (Possesed, obsessed ryhmes ajdskljd =u= ) And like you said kagamin take out the white-shiny in their eyes add a smile your already creepy.

Looking at it now, this juxtaposition is... interesting. >_>

The entire class rejoices, but oh? Someone is having second thoughts? No worries, they can disappear. To be honest, I kind of like their mindset. It’s so straightforward, even if a bit scary. xD Manabe, at this point, seems to be their accomplice; while the others lead her astray, he sneaks up from behind and knocks her unconscious. Tsk, that’s no way to treat your possible soul mate. >_>

Ha. Amidst all the suspense and cliffhangers and so much uncertainty, I’m still thinking of possible romance. Fantastic. xD

Chapter 4

The covers have somewhat of an "Alice in Wonderland" theme. Or is it just me?

Manabe knocked her unconscious and she was saved by Midori. They walk home together, and we find out about the whole backstory behind “King Time” and how Mariko started it all. Even though the story is all serious, it kind of get waved off by Midori’s “8D” airheaded-ness. And Tsubasa’s so cute when panicking~

^ Lol @ the last two sentences. And I thought “Alice” is Japanese is “Arisa”? No wait, it’s “Arisu”. Meh, close enough. xD

Midori’s air-headiness is evil I tell you D<

Tsubasa is skeptical of Manabe, and Takeru can break down doors too.

Tsubasa is saved by Takeru, and they go to the teacher’s house. But no one answers, and Tsuabsa sees Manabe around the corner; just what was he doing there? While Tsubasa deals with the “traitor” at school and is led to believe that Manabe will help her, Takeru does some snooping at Manabe’s place (couldn’t they have knocked down the teacher’s door, too?). He finds Arisa’s traitor card… and deduces that Manabe is a stalker. o_o

Tsk tsk. Stalking & knocking down doors — boys are scary. D8

I did try not be be biased when picking scans… and I don’t have too many of Manabe and Takeru. What are you talking about? =/

YAY a good act by Manabe~ <33 Saved the poor girl. Pick a side for crying out loud– first your knocking out Tsubasa with some plank, now your saving this “traitor”. You’re giving the readers mixed impressions, gah. xD

Justice Manabe or Evil Manabe? >D Hmm, even so I dont find myslef in love with the bishies this time, just the scariness =w=b

Chapter 5

Yaaay, ARISA is on the cover! And I'm still getting this "Alice in Wonderland" sense-- look, playing cards!

Manabe looks kind of scary. And Tsubasa is so lol; dear, think of better excuses when running away from your atm-boyfriend, even if it's so cute. x)

Tsubasa concludes that Manabe is the King, and luckily (?) Midori appears in time to save (?) her. Then she runs away. ♥ There are some cute flashbacks, which really points out the similarities between the twins (they both stand for what the believe in). Given this, I don’t think there’d be any reason to suspect Arisa; unless there’s more to “King Time” than meets the eye (which there undoubtedly is).

Manabe is scary in that scan. Reminds me of Hi— no, nevermind. The colour page had a big picture of him though, yay. \(^o^)/ Purple eyes! I wonder if those cards have any significant meaning… (I hope they do. ;D)

Awesome Manabe there =w=b Evil Logo is awesome too~ And despite the fact,  Midori has a high chance of being king, I just really cant imagine him like that =-=, not enough creepy potential.

I've ran out of interesting things to say. Look! Takeru! ;D

The next wish is to cancel the athletic festival, and in his terror-reign kind of way, the King proposes harm to someone. Tsubasa rushes around playing heroine, and it works; until the last day before the festival. Note how Takeru’s on the roof? Then when Tsubasa tries to “catch Manabe in the act”, where does Takeru go?

Hmm… Takeru’s hair looks so flippy-flippy. xD (Random much…? I couldn’t think of anything more to say as well, OTL.)

I also don’t have much else to say but.. Go Tsubasa! You look great in your cherleading outfit =w=b

Okay so the teacher gets injured anyways (look, blood!) and… Arisa is the King?! According to Manabe, anyways. But from what we know about the Arisa in the past, again, I don’t think this is the case. Natsumi Andou could just be misleading us all, but we’ll see.

What’s with the flashy-flashes? Do they make you sick? (I forget what exactly happened, okay? I’m just judging based on the scans Kyfni posted. xD)

The king can’t be Arisa! It’s too obvious! D8 If you think about it. I’ll deduce its Manabe’s-long-lost-twin. Its ok Tsubasa, you tried > – < evil-king guy is just to shineh =x=.

I am loving this series; just reiterating, if it wasn’t obvious enough. As a random spur-of-the-moment thing, after Chapter 4, I suspected that Manabe might also have a twin (which would have been why they suspect each other, etc.). That idea is pretty dashed, but at the very least, I’m hoping it’s not all that predictable. So! Instead of suspecting Midori or Mariko, I’m going to suspect… Takeru to be involved somehow. There’s only sketchy evidence at best, but in any case…

In the very first chapter, he shows interest in Arisa. I’m not saying he’s a stalker, but it kind of gives him a motive? And in the latest chapter, where did Takeru go? He could’ve fallen asleep… though thinking rationally about all this, it seems very unlikely. But just let me run away with my imagination. xD I don’t want Takeru to just be the sidekick, you know? >w<

I really want to know why Arisa is so special. Even if she did “lose her memory”, shouldn’t class 2-B remind her of her role or something? They seem too accepting of her amnesia; and they didn’t isolate her even when she received the traitor card (unless Manabe didn’t send the second one). But that just makes me think that this was all a ploy to bait Tsubasa (would Arisa do something like that?) and trap her; though at the moment it seems like she’d have Manabe on her side. I can’t wait for the next chapter to see how their encounter plays out~

Hummm… I’m so confused. @__@ I want Manabe to be good~ I like him lol. He’s intriguing. >D Mariko & Midori are suspicious to me… especially Midori. He’s too smiley about the situation, imo. xD I wouldn’t be surprised if he already knows that it’s really Tsubasa instead of Arisa. Mariko is just creepy. She’s like… yandere? That’s probably the closest I can get in terms of adjectives. And I have a feeling someone might die—but that could just be me guessing based on one of Natsumi Andou’s other mangas, Kitchen Princess. Hmm… I would think like, one of the twins or one of the guys. It’d make the story more interesting, but it would be sad. T__T

And if Manabe had a twin, that’d make so much more sense. (Because as you can see, he’s either – or. Confuzzling.) And I’d be happy. Manabe x2 = <3

O – O And Arisa, is too awesome, suspenful and messed up (in a good way) that I’ll continue just reading it without too many questions so my brain doesn’t die @u@ But everyone is too suspcious in this manga, Mariko might as well be the king, selfcest jadklsjd .
