Well Kyfni & Cafesuu recommended this series to me, so I read it — and found it was sooo cute. So we’ll be blogging about it today. Reviewing chapter 1 & 2, I believe we should be able to catch up even though there’s already like 5 chapters out. Here’s the picture & summary:

“I want to get a boyfriend in high school.” Born on the same day, at the same hospital, Asuka and Tomaru were always together. Though they seem more like twins than real twins, Asuka’s desire for independence means separation… a complicated situation?!

So yeah, you read the summary~ The story starts out on Asuka & Tomaru’s birthday, Tomaru is singing and Asuka is studying.

Adorable, right?

So the next morning Asuka is tired and all… and she encounters some twins and talks with them a little bit. It’s not common to see them together, because they like being apart. So they discuss some stuff about high school and etc. (I personally found this part boring xD)

I liked the twins! I want to see more of them~ <3

Agreed the twins FTW =w=b

So yeah, yep. xD The twins wonder why doesn’t Asuka stay with Tomaru instead of getting a boyfriend… School gets out and while Asuka is walking home she spots Tomaru with an older girl. She kinda just hovers… and Tomaru spots her.

Yeees, Asuka, find someone other than Tomaru! ;D I know I’m an avid support of childhood loves, but I support another pairing in this series. >D More about that later.

lol I personally find TomaruxAsuka twin friend relationship cute~ >w< But the romance isnt so bad either =w=b

So he drags her away to McDonald’s (or someplace like that) with them. xD This girl’s name is Natsuo, and she doesn’t use honorifics, which makes her seem really cool in Asuka’s eyes. They talk a little bit, and when Tomaru goes the the bathroom, Natsuo tells Asuka she’s jealous of the relationship Tomaru & Asuka share. It’s cute. ^^ Afterwards, Tomaru & Asuka leave together. Asuka hears Tomaru say “That’s too bad” when she suggests Natsuo must have a boyfriend.

Yeaaaah, they’re so cute in the sibling-ish way. I might just be making excuses for myself, but childhood loves aren’t as cute if they’re THAT close, you know? If they’re practically twins… okay, I’m just making up excuses. -w-

Gah, I’m still “IDK” but yes, I think I prefer the adorable TomaruxAsuka friend relationship~

They part ways and go home. Poor Asuka can’t sleep, she feels sad. D: So they next day, Tomaru breaks some news to her…

Asuka-Tomaru Twin Telepathy O – O (Somehow) poor Asuka though . _ .

So Tomaru is moving far away. Asuka suggests coming to her house, but Tomaru says that’s too selfish. He says, “We’re going to separate sometime anyway.” Poor Asuka. T___T So she’s sad, and Tomaru stops coming to her house for dinner. Asuka starts remembering what happened when Tomaru’s parents died, and how he would only open up to her. She gives up and decides that Tomaru can do what ever he wants. In school, Tomaru asks if they can go home together, and Asuka comes up with an excuse. And Tomaru replies…

They’re so cute! Especially when they were young~ and his story was so tragic too. I can see why he needs Askua~ poor Tomaru. ):

So they talk a little, and then Asuka asks Tomaru to come for dinner because her mom is lonely. xD Afterwards it cuts to where Asuka is walking home… she took a detour because I guess she wants to take her time while going home? Not sure, I didn’t exactly understand it lol. Well anyways she runs into Natsuo, and turns out Natsuo met Tomaru today.

She probably doesn’t want to see Tomaru or else she’d cry. ;_;

I dont really know what to say anymore lol, so I’ll just say Awwww ; – ;

And so Asuka starts thinking, “Why is Tomaru lonely? I’m the one who’s lonely.” So while she’s thinking this, it starts snowing, and her and Natsuo both look up at the sky. And then Natsuo notices Asuka is crying. She asks what’s wrong, and Asuka quickly bids her goodbye and runs home. Upon arriving, Asuka finds Tomaru outside her house in the snow.

Aww, it’s okay to be selfish sometimes. <33 And I love snow~ snowy heartfelt scenes are the best. x)

Indeed, =w=b it’s sometimes hard to realize why someone else is thinking that way. Cute little Asuka~

Asuka asks Tomaru just to live with them. If that can’t happen, they can find jobs and rent an apartment. As much as Tomaru would like to, he tells her, “But, you might be happier without me. You don’t really need me, right?” But don’t worry, Asuka handled everything alright. xD

Yay for Asuka! =D

So they go inside, and Asuka’s mom allows him to live with them. (: And with the last page, the chapter ends on a funny note. xD

Hehe~ you can see the side of people no one else ever sees with these. So adorable. ^^

So the chapter starts out pretty usual, not much happening lol. Asuka & Tomaru are starting their first day of school, and Tomaru is happy while Asuka is nervous. So they go off to school to find out they’re in different classes.

No no, this is a good thing! *shifts guiltily*

LOL. uhhh Tomaru and Asuka look so good in their high school uniforms =w=

So she goes off to class with Ryuu. (Ahh, Ryuu. I like him. Why? No real reason, really. I just think he’s cool~) On their way, they see a guy with golden hair, and they’re like amazed. I’d like to see more of this blonde-haired guy. I’m curious hahaha. And remember, I [apparently] have a fetish for blonde guys (add blue eyes and there you go, a very happy Kagamin xD) Anyways, Asuka makes friends with a girl who was in her middle school, Niiyama Anna.

Haha, Kagamin~ when you fall in love irl, tell me his hair + eye colour please. >D And yeees, Ryuu is pretty cool. ;D

Ryuu is WINNNNNNN asdkjasldkjaklsdjlkasjdl.

So Anna asks if Asuka is dating Tomaru, to which Asuka denies. Asuka then remembers a memory she had, where she confessed to Tomaru, and he turned her down [because he didn't want the ruin their relationship?]. So then Anna, Asuka, & Hagio (another girl that came while Asuka was remembering) start talking about what most (okay, maybe not most, but some) normal high school girls talk about — boys. Anna & Asuka both want boyfriends, while Hagio already has one (and he’s older than her, as well ;D). So after school Asuka goes outside in the front to wait for Tomaru. But then she starts getting harassed but some weirdos.

Tsktsk. If you don’t accept a girl’s confession the first time, she might run to someone else… ;D And aww, I like these girl-to-girl talks. They’re cute x) And of course, I kinda like the weirdos because…

lol, these girl to girl talks reminds me of Lucky star =w=b

But too bad creepy guys, Asuka happens to get saved from your clutches. And the person who saves her isn’t Tomaru, either. ;D

There he is~ He looks cool, don’t you think? Don’t worry, you’ll see more of him in the next chapter. =w=b

He’s awesome and veryy cool. I need more of them~ xD I like him better than Tomaru, which is why I’m kinda going against my “childhoodlovesftw” side for this manga. x)

So yep, it ends like this. We got new characters, yay. This is one of those moments where I don’t really say much, I just want to read more. x) I pretty much said who I wanted to see again already. Mainly this new guy, Ryuu (nyahaha), and that Blonde guy. All guys, lol. What can I say, they’re all cuties. XDD

*sighh* I think that Asuka will end up with Tomaru just because. Even though she wants to find someone else, it’s kind of like… she’ll be back for him eventually? In the mean time, I’m going to fangirlish-ly hope for an ending where the two protagonists don’t get together… *hides*

BLONDE HAIR GUY IS WIN TOO HE’S SO HAWT AND AND AJSKLAJKLSJALSJALSJLKJSLAJS I love teh males of Strange orange =w=b *cough* Anyway, yeah I bet that Tomaru and Asuka will end up together, and thats not so bad for me, but for my fellow two fangirls though… >w>;
