Not much to this post except for some awesome videos I happened to find on Youtube. While I love Nico and it’s highquality fastloading glory, I’ll face it. I know very very little Japanese. OTL

Let’s start off with some actual anime-related things. owob
I got on my Youtube account after ditching it for like a couple months, and looked at my subscriptions.
I found a couple interesting things. :D

First and my favorite… SUPER DRIVER. Gawd I love this song. It’s so energetic and happy and everywhere and it makes me want to get up and RUN OR BOUNCE AROUND. And being the lazy person I am, that’s a first. :3 I thought the Japanese version was awesome, but then I heard Cristina Vee’s english fandub. I about exploded and died. :D

CRISTINA YOU ARE FREAKING MADE OF AWESOMESAUCE AND AMAZINGCAKES. *A*
Yeah I know some people don’t like her, but I do. Her voice is happy and strong without being overly annoying or empowering. ^^

She also made a Don’t Say Lazy dub, but I still like the Super Driver one better. Then again, I may be biased…

I also found a remix of Super Driver, which I am downloading at this moment. :3

I’ll admit the beginning is annoying with all its “I SAY I SAY I SAY I SAY”, but I can easily clip that out. =3=
Even as a remix, I want to get up AND MOVE, SRSLY. I love this song. ;w;

Now, for some Vocaloid I am quite proud of myself for doing. Yeah that’s right, I mixed these right here. C:<
I downloaded Asami Shimoda’s Prism album recently, and her covers are so pretty. *3* So being the nerd I am, I mixed one of them with Rin’s original ones.
Both videos are “Kokoro”, but they’re different. First is a double version, with both Rin & Asami singing at the same time.

Asami’s voice is so moe sldfj;skf.
Okay next, I saw it as a suggestion on Youtube. Rin’s voice until she optains Kokoro, then it swtiches to Asami’s. I think I did quite well, I’m proud of myself for actually getting a PV instead of using pictures like I usually do. And getting the video to work in WMM was haaarrrddd. D:

And yes, I had to lower the pitch of Rin’s, because Asami’s was a different [lower] key than hers. Goes to show that Vocaloids and humans are definitely not the same. xD Both have their strengths and weaknesses. :3

On a random Hetalia-based note, the cover preview for America’s character CD cover is out.

Oh, there’s also his song preview somewhere, but I’d rather not go into that. |D

This one is mainly Just Be Friends-centric. ^^

We’ll start off with some VocaMASH, which is pretty much two completely different songs put together. First off, we have a non-Vocaloid cross, but it still works. Why? It’s the background music of “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari” (Bakemonogatari ED), with the vocals to “MELT”. Both are composed by Ryo/Supercell, so there’s the connection. ^^ As for who does the vocals, I’m not sure, but it’s lovely.

Next is Just Be Friends x Meltdown. EPIC, SONG IS EPIC.

Now we have a music box version of Just Be Friends. IT’S SO PRETTYYYY~ s222

Now, we have a Just Be Friends -Piano Version- cover by Yamai~ Dosen’t she sing beautifully? ;w;

Another non-Vocaloid x Vocaloid crossover! This time it’s Miku’s “When Love Ends for the First Time” with the background music of “Fuwa Fuwa Time” (K-ON! lol). IT SOUNDS REALLY GOOD.

Another K-ON! x Vocaloid cross. This time it’s the background tune of “Don’t Say Lazy!” with the vocals of “World is Mine”. OMG IT’S SO FITTING IT’S NOT EVEN RIGHT.

Just Be Friends x Packaged = epic. JUST BE FRIENDS SOUNDS GOOD WITH ALOT OF THINGS LOL. It’s the beat that makes it awesome. ;D

Cafesuu thinks all of these are awesome too btw. She’s just too lazy busy to comment. xD

Reviewing a couple songs on the ranking today~ ^^

Starting with the 24-hours list (at least, I think that’s what first tab is).

The second one on the list was actually the one that caught my eye first. It looked like something for “The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku”, so I clicked on it out of curiousity. It’s wonderful. *A*

It looks like a PV to me, but in my opinion, there wasn’t enough Hatsune Miku. :’D Most of the video is the lyrics showing up and special effects. While both are done beautifully, I wished there’d be more Miku, since it is her song, after all. The singer in the video isn’t Miku either, but I loved her voice. I thought she was Luka at first, lol. And uhm yeah I dunno what the heck is up with that submessage either. :’D

The first song on the list (but second song I listened to) was a version of Cantarella, featuring Luka & Gakupo. While the voices were also Nico singers, I loved them anyways. I dunno, they just fit so well. >w< And the video itself, I lovedddd the art. It's just so pretty. While I think it's more of a pictures-and-many-special-effects PV also, I loved the effects. They were so fun to look at. >w<

Third song on the 24-hours list, is called “No Logic”. I have no idea why it’s even on the watcher, ’cause I don’t hear any Vocaloid in it. But I guess it’s on a CD where Vocaloids are featured, so… okay? And plus, after listening to it… I love it. I dunno, I just do. xD The vocals are nice, the instrumentals are catchy. =D Totally going on my iPod.

Starting on the other tab now (no idea what it says, I have fail Japanese skills), first up is a Luka song that I find adorable.

From what I gather from the video, it’s about a princess who wants to go outside of her tower after seeing a boy playing around. She wants to play with him, but her caretaker or whatever says no… so she sneaks out. Then has to gather up her courage to ask if she can play with him. And he says yes, and happily ever after etc etc. XD

I liked the song, while it’s tagged as Vocarock, it wasn’t guitar & drums blaring out and making me deaf. :’D Hooraayy~ So I liked the instrumentals, especially the piano. The tune itself I found catchy too, without taking away from the hint of cuteness there. While the art isn’t the best, I’m satisfied with it. I’d rather have simple art depicting the story than lovely art with only a few pictures.

The next song is by Gakupo, and the first thing I thought when I heard it– “Asian sounding again.” Idk, I hear alot of Gakupo songs like that. Maybe it’s cause he’s a samurai? oAo Moving on, I like the art. It’s pretty too. ^^ And the video implies GakupoxLuka. Woot. :’D Personally, the song was to slow and serious for me. I’m more of a jumpy-happy type person. XD But overall, it was quite soothing. ^^b

Third song on the second list (and the 8th song on the 24-hours list), is a song I clicked on just ’cause it had the word “RMX” on it. :’D I like remixes, what can I say? xD And either this song just repeats twice, or it really is like 7 minutes. o__O

Okay first, the effects are soo hypnotizing. Really. *staaaareesss* And the song, while the normal parts aren’t so memorable, I love the chorus. I don’t know how to describe it, but I likeee ittt. >w< And this is coming from a person who usually dosen't like Meiko's normal voice, btw. :'D I'm more found of her cutesy Sakine voice. XD

So that’s it for today, I’ll review again later when I see some different songs on the ranking. ^^
