Welcome to our home of lost toys banner gallery~! Here is where we’ll honour all the banners which helped make our blog sparkly (whether currently or once upon a time). Despite the title, we’re also treating this as our layout archive, complete with a small blurb and dates. Click on the thumbnails for the full version; happy browsing! -^^-

Wordpress.com was where it ALL started. We made the blog on May 13th, 2009 and spent the next week and a half customizing, making decisions, and doing everything under the sun; during the second busiest school month of the year. Are we crazy? Almost definitely.

Alice in Wonderland

Misha kindly offered to host us while talking with Kyfni in a crowded bus 30 people over the limit, driving up some New Brunswick highway. As soon as they returned from their adventure at the end of July, the site was set up; her diligent partners-in-crime had already gotten some of the layout stuff figured out, so all that was left was a ton of tweaking and then KM would be ready for its grand RE-opening. Long story short, after more than a month of customization, our corner was ready to shine; with 9 rotating banners to boot!

It all started one dreary Saturday morning. Our host moved servers and luckily we had the entire site backed up. But upon re-installing– what’s this?! A bunch of the plugins were weird, and even some of the posts had been affected. Instead of trying to force technology to its knees (you win, this time), we decided to just go ahead with a brand new layout to get our motivation going for the New Year. Woot, 2010! Who says winter has to be the colour of ice and snow? (:
